Orlando Traffic Department Manager & Senior Traffic/ITS Project Manager
- Leads, directs, and mentors transportation design staff.
- Determines staffing requirements and makes recommendations for hiring staff members.
- Works with existing office leadership on strategic growth strategies.
- Participates in goal setting and goal achievement process for direct reports.
- Provides department status, performance and forecasts to the Division Manager (direct supervisor) on a regular basis.
- Assists in the development of marketing strategies for traffic/ITS project opportunities.
- Coordinates project priorities and staff member assignments to meet project deadlines and client needs.
- Prepares and modifies reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, environmental studies, and designs for projects.
- Performs QAQC activities on office projects.
- Adheres to company standards for quality assurance and quality control.
- Participates in project scoping, fee estimating and proposal preparation, interviews, and negotiations.
- Reviews department projects after award to collaborate on work procedures/sequences and developing schedules, budgets, staffing, sub consultant involvement, and progress billings.
- Forms a project team and sees that responsibilities are assigned, and the execution of tasks are begun and completed according to schedule.
- Serves as Project Manager on projects.
- Meets with client management as necessary during the term of a project to resolve issues and to obtain approvals at the project’s completion.
- Performs client marketing and participates in contract/project pursuits with FDOT, CFX, FTE, THEA, Counties & Municipalities and other agencies throughout the state of Florida, Georgia and North Carolina.

Who am I?
Graduated with Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2005. Started fulltime with DRMP, Inc Traffic Division in January 2006 following graduation. Cross-trained in all aspects of Traffic Engineering from Safety and Operations Studies, signal timings, synchro modeling, Signing & Pavement Marking Design, Signalization Design, Lighting Design & Intelligent Transportation Systems Design. IMSA Signal Technician Level II Certified. Obtained E.I. and P.E.
