TJ is a Senior Vice President and the Director of DRMP's Alternative Delivery Market Sector. TJ began his career as an intern at DRMP and has grown to lead numerous complex roadway, bridge, and interchange projects for DRMP.
Who am I?
TJ’s background is in structural engineering with design experience that includes concrete beams (AASHTO, Florida-I Beams, haunched box beams, Post-Tensioned Girders) and steel girder bridges (I-girder, Box Girder), flat slab bridges (cast-in-place and prestressed panels), bridge widening, phased bridge replacements, new bridges, and pedestrian bridges. More recently, TJ has been involved in the pursuit and execution of more than 15 design-build projects for DRMP. TJ brings innovative design concepts to all of his design-build projects, including saving $2 million on a $22 million project by using a 96-inch-deep, 209-foot-long FIB to span US 17/92 at SR 436 intersection, the most heavily traveled in Central Florida.
TJ holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida, is a Registered Professional in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, and is a Certified DBIA Professional.
In his free time, TJ enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and is an avid Florida Gators sports fan.
