Rinker Design Associates, LLC (RDA) is a Virginia-based civil engineering firm with 170+ employees on staff, and locations in Manassas (two offices), Fredericksburg, Richmond, Virginia Beach, and Waynesboro, Virginia. RDA is a leading provider of professional civil engineering, transportation engineering, traffic engineering, utility design/relocation/coordination, stormwater management design, environmental, surveying, Right-of-Way/easement acquisition and appraisal, land planning, litigation support, and permitting services to both the public and private sector. We have also recently added construction engineering and inspections/administration (CEI services), as well as structural services within our range of capabilities, as part of our vision to provide comprehensive services for our clients. In terms of our work distribution, 85% of our business is in the public and quasi-public sector arena and approximately 15% in the high-end commercial, retail, residential and industrial private sector development arenas. Additionally, RDA provides expert consulting and testimony, most often on behalf of the Virginia Department of Transportation and local jurisdictions.
